Here we are holding up our egg-carton caterpillars. We painted and decorated them. They're looking pretty flash!

Room 1 are superstar block builders. We are getting really good a working together and sharing the different toys that we have in Room 1. Miss Johnston is very impressed at how caring we all are :)

Spud Dig

We had our School Spud Dig on Wednesday. It was a beautiful sunny evening and lots of children and their whānau came along. There was a line for some delicious treats and also fun games happening. Here are a few photos from the night.

Swimming Week!

Wow! We had such a fun week of swimming in Room 1. A big big thank you to all of our parent helpers who made it possible. We really loved having you come along and help us. Miss Johnston was so impressed by all of the water skills she saw. Here a a few photos from our week.

Our Inquiry this term is Asia

We have been having lots of fun learning about Asia. Here are some photos of us practising using chopsticks. We've also been having Mandarin lessons every Thursday with Annie and Amy :) so far we have learn how to say "I am...", and count to 5. We also play fun games with Annie and Amy.
